Festival Staff Ltd
Festival workers throughout the summer
Hours: Can vary from a few to as many as you want on the busy weekends
Rate: £6.10 per hour
Festival workers needed from beginning of June – end of September to work in clean and friendly catering trailers travelling round the festival circuit.
Some weekends are busier than others so our staff needs to fluctuate throughout the summer. We trade at most of the big music festivals in the south of England. We try to be organised so everybody has a nice time and can enjoy a bit of music but this is not always possible and should be looked upon as a bonus rather than a given. The advantages of this job are escaping the 9-5 monotony, being outside (rain, wind or sunshine), working as part of a team and everyday is different.
At nearly all of the festivals we do require you to be there for at least one night (although the average is probably about three and can go up to ten for Glastonbury) So not only will you need a tent but you will also need to be able to put it up by yourself – if you hate camping this is definitely not the job for you!
Catering/bar work experience handy but not essential. We must stress this is hard work and not just a way to visit festivals. Applicants need to have a lot of stamina, not be afraid of getting their hands dirty and have a big sense of humour.
