NUS Conference - Blackpool 27th - 29th March 2007
Annual Conference: The sovereign body of the National Union of Students is the Annual Conference and it takes place each spring.
UWESU affiliates to the National Union of Students and therefore is a Constituent Member and entitled to elect a delegation of up to 11 student members to attend the Annual Conference.
National Conference sets the policy of NUS. Motions are submitted under the following headings Education, Welfare, Union Development, Global Citizenship, Reform and Miscellaneous. Elections are held for the offices of the National Executive and Steering Committees.
If you wish to stand for election to be part of the delegation from the University of the West of England Students' Union to attend National Conference please contact nerys.neath@uwe.ac.uk or phone 0117 3282585 for further information. If you are elected all transport and accommodation will be provided.
Each elected delegate must also submit a written report after Conference to be published on the web pages.
