Student Rep Meetings

Find the agendas and minutes for UWESU meetings attended by your student reps here.

Come back soon for minutes of the 2009-2010 meetings.

All student reps are able to attend meetings of the Faculty Student Council for the faculty they represent students in. Students from each Faculty Student Council are then elected to form the Student Representative Council, where university wide issues can be discussed, and matters raised with the SRC President and Vice President. The Student Representative Council can also pass UWESU policy.
In addition, there are meetings for special interest groups, such as postgraduate research students, and Joint Honours students. The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the specific problems that are often unique to courses of this nature.

Calendar 09/10

These are the dates for your diary if you hope to be a Student Rep!

Faculty/School Student Councils

What are Faculty/School Student Councils?

All student reps are invited to attend their Faculty/School Student council (FSC). These meetings occur five times a year, and are an opportunity for reps across the faculty to meet and consider matters relating to their academic experience.

Student Representative Council (SRC)

What is the SRC?

The Student Representative Council (SRC) canvasses and identifies the views of the student members of the University relating to their educational experience. It is made up from members from each faculty, the SRC Vice President, and is chaired by the SRC President.
