Advice Centre
Students may approach you with issues that affect them as individuals. In these cases you may like to refer them to the Student Advice Centre where they can give expert advice on student matters.
Resources
The Students' Union will provide you with the resources necessary for your role as a Student rep.
¦ Computers . There are computers available for use by reps on the 5th floor of the Union in the Activities Centre. Contact your rep co-ordinator for a tour of the Activities Centre.
¦ Photocopiers. If you need to use a photocopier for rep purposes then please let your rep co-ordinator know and they will give you access to a photocopier.
¦ Telephones. If you need to make a call in your capacity as rep then please come to room 4F10 at Frenchay. External calls will have to be logged.
¦ Faculty Board Papers. In 4F10 we keep a record of previous Faculty Board Papers and University Committee papers for your reference.
¦ Notice Boards. These can help you raise awareness of specific issues, collect student feedback, or pass on information to other students. If you would like some help designing a poster, contact me.
Anything else. If you need it then come and see us and we will try to provide it.
