The Sports Council is your forum to express queries or concerns and ensure your club is run successfully.
What is it:
Sports Council is your chance to get involved with the way that your students' union is run. Representatives from all sports clubs meet five times a year to discuss all manner of topics that affect students. The council has contributed to the development of the new sports facility and supports and oversees the Varsity series and Sports Awards Dinner. An open meeting is held at the start of every year for you to come along to experience the type of meeting that can help to shape your experience at UWE.
When is it?
The meetings for next academic year 2009 - 2010 will be held on Frenchay Campus, from 5.30pm - 7.30pm on the following dates:
- Thursday 8th October 2009 - Room TBC
- Thursday 3rd December 2009 - Room TBC
- Thursday 4th February 2010 - Room TBC
- Thursday 4th March 2010 - Room TBC
- Thursday 29th April 2010 - Room TBC (This date is subject to change due to Varsity Fixture)
Who should attend?
A representative from each sports club, usually the President, must attend the Council meetings.

The Sports Executive committee is your chance to get involved and influence how sport is run at UWE while enhancing your own personal development.
How to Submit a Motion
Motions are a vital tool to get policies and proceedures that you want through Sports Council and supported by the Students' Union.
