The University Boxing club is open to all students regardless of ability or gender and is dedicated to enjoying and promoting the sweet science.We offer dynamic, fun, and fulfilling training for people wanting to learn self-defence, compete or simply get much, much fitter!
We have lots of fun social events arranged throughout the year.
The Club trains twice weekly during term times at Broad Plains Boys Club in central Bristol, it’s an award winning gym with unrivalled facilities.
All the basic equipment is supplied – just bring some water and sensible trainers for sports. Lots more information about what we do and how we do it is available on our website

The club is a 5 minute walk from the bus stops outside Market Gate.
Lots of people travel from Frenchay and other sites - so if you want to find someone to travel with get in touch via this site or the below email.
Parking is available at the gym.

Cost: £15 (+£10 Additional training fee) for the whole year: this covers insurance and hire of equipment.Individuals who wish to take part will need handwraps (needed from the beginning) and a mouthguard (later on if the member wishes to spar).
The Gym supplies skipping ropes, gloves, headguards etc.
Members can bring their own if they wish
