Hockey

UWE Hockey is a mixed club boasting 7 teams, 4 male and 3 female. Both Men's and Women's 1st teams are in Division 1. All 7 teams regularly compete in the BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) Leagues with matches being played on Wednesday afternoons.

We have 2 partner clubs, Bristol UWE and Redland UWE Hockey Clubs which provide competative local league matches on weekends (Membership to these clubs are included within our membership).

We offer weekly club training for all teams on Monday ,Tuesday and Thursday evenings on our waterbased pitch on frenchay campus.

We have a large social element to the club too with a start of term away day, weekly socials on Wednesdays evenings at Poo Na Na (SPORTS NIGHT) & an annual Christmas dinner. In addition we will be going on tour this year with Sports Party.
