Late Work

The University does not allow extensions to be granted for an individual's assignments.

If you are likely to miss a deadline due to illness or personal problems, you will have to get a late work form from your Faculty reception/help desk. This then needs to be handed in, along with the late piece of work within 10 working days (5 working days in the Bristol School of Creative Art.)

Remember - extensions are no longer given to any student. If you've missed a deadline or are about to, you will have to follow the University late work procedure.

The Advice Centre produces a leaflet entitled 'Late Work' to help you through this procedure.

If you have extenuating circumstances, the late work procedure does not affect your right to complete an extenuating circumstances form. This must be done withing 5 working days of the exam or coursework hand in date.

The Students' Union Advice Centre produce information leaflets on both late work and extenuating circumstances which you can pick up from the Advice Centre at Frenchay or your SU campus office.

Remember - extensions are no longer given to any student.
