Hello students old and new, my name is Nina and I’m your Vice President for Sports for this academic year. I’ll be working closely with your Sport’s Officer Miki Parr and your newly elected sports executives which comprise Chris White as Competitions officer; positions of events officer, campaigns officer and media and communications officer are yet to be filled...so why not think of standing in this summer’s elections.
All of us together make up the fundamental sporting body here at UWE and are here to represent and work with all students and sports clubs making sure you are getting the best experience and support you can in your chosen extracurricular activities, whilst promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Over 3000 students every year take part in sports and this year with 41 sports clubs to chose from I’m sure we can reach a record number of students and alumni reaping the benefits of joining a sports club this year!
