UWE Gliding Club

Joining UWE Gliding Club will give you access to world-class gliding training facilities at the Cotswold Gliding Club in Stroud. Cotswold Gliding Club is one of the UK’s premier gliding clubs, and membership of UWEGC gives you access to all of their facilities, including their new training fleet of PW-6U and DG-500 two seat trainers.

We aim to have trips every weekend and most Wednesdays. All trips are free - you only pay for transport and the cost of your flights!

No prior experience is required - simply join and attend a trip. With some commitment you could fly solo within a year!

Membership is just £25 for UWE students - and when you join you get your first flight for free!
