New Ulink timetable

This contains several changes that you have asked for:

• twice as many U3 buses from Frenchay to St Matthias arriving before 09.30;
• a late weekday bus from Frenchay to the city via St Matthias at 21.15, returning from St Matthias at 22.08;
• a late Saturday night bus from Frenchay into town on Saturday night at 21.04;
• better timed departures from Bower Ashton at 16.05, 16.30 and 17.10.

All other timings have been changed to improve reliability. The new timetable will be published in advance.

In addition, from 17 February all Ulink buses will be open to the public to use. This means that in due course Bristol City Council will install timetables at main bus stops and the services will be listed on traveline (www.travelinesw.com ) and the Frenchay departures board. In addition bus stops have been installed on Coronation Road on the U1 route. Information for the travelling public will also appear on www.ulinkbus.info shortly.

While most commuters will travel into town during the morning when students are travelling towards campus, if any difficulties with capacity arise from extra public passengers we will act to resolve these quickly.

Transporting students at affordable prices will always remain our highest priority. There will be no increases in student or staff fares this academic year; please ensure you show the driver your UWE ID card when purchasing a ticket on the bus.
