An invitation from Dom Passfield

A Journey Through UWE's Changing Landscape.

Reflections of a Students' Union President - ambassador, mediator, governor, learner, colleague and friend. A student.

Dom Passfield invites you to attend a lecture where he will reflect on the experiences and challenges he has faced over the last two years in his role as UWE Bristol's Student Representative President.

Dom’s presentation will take us through his time as a Students' Union President. He will examine the complexities and tension that his position holds, with segues between the themes related to the diverse roles that he is required to undertake.

He will explore the lessons he has learned from being a part of two large organisations, and will share his thoughts, at the end of his term of office, on the key areas of discourse and the challenges that he believes the University and Students’ Union must face up to.
