Want to be involved with an exciting opportunity with the Students’ Union? Interested in the environment or human rights issues?

An opportunity has arisen for students to get involved in advisory review group, which could really help the Students’ Union to become more environmentally and socially responsible.
This is a great opportunity for those who have an interest in the environment, human rights issues, policy or finance. It's great experience for those looking to get into the field and looks great on the CV.
You will attend meetings just twice in the academic year. The first meeting will be on Wednesday 10^thFebruary at 2pm with another to follow in April/May (tbc).
You will meet to discuss UWESU’s new ethical and social responsibility policy, reviewing its investments, sponsorship and purchases to see if they are suitable and in line with the policy and then offer recommendations to the Students’ Union’s Finance and General Purposes Committee, which is a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees, and decides how the Union’s money is spent.
