Sports Executive is changing...

Calling ALL sports clubs members (ie. not just the committee!):

• Fancy being on Sports Executive?
• Do you want to use your skills and hobbies to develop UWE Sport?
• Do you want something that looks great on your CV?
• Do you want a free hoody and to be a VIP at all our big sporting events?

All you need to do is write a two-minute speech about what you could bring to the roles below and deliver them at the next sports council on Thurdsay 24th April 5:30pm, room 2D07. I can help as much as you need, just give me an email on sports.president@uwe.ac.uk .

New Roles

Following a restructure the new roles offer so much more to anyone considering running, including:

• More room for personal development. For example to sit on higher Students’ Union Committees or chair sub committees, e.g. events committee.
• More opportunity to offer specific advice and use specific skills. For example, website design
• More specific training can be offered, e.g. the NUS campaigning training
• An opportunity to develop each executive role and thus develop Students’ Union Sport
• An opportunity to improve aspects of Students’ Union sport such as events and campaigns
• More specific roles will offer more clarity for committee members when they have questions
• An opportunity for members to use other skills
• An opportunity for students to go on internal and external training courses
• An opportunity to compliment students' courses or career path
