Open 11am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and until 10.30pm Sunday. They serve general pub food including burgers and steaks and they also have a function room upstairs where music and activities can be arranged. The pub is split into two halves with one half being young and vibrant, student led and the other half very much resembling an 'old man's pub'. Pints are £2.50, spirits £1.90 and ales £2.20, and they also allege to serve the cheapest Thatchers in Bristol at £1.70. If you do decide to visit this pub don't forget to say hi to old man Brian.
Ideal for long summer drinks outside by the quayside, does a cheap popular Sunday lunch and has a broad range of real local ales. Either cruise down by the ferry from the centre fountains or walk from a day at the SS Great Britain.
