The Badminton club provides a friendly atmosphere for players of any level and background. We are an international club with members from countries all over the world. Joining our club not only means taking part in a competitive sport but also interacting with people who have other interests, cultures and languages.
Besides normal practice sessions, we also take part in intra-mural tournaments, the BUSA and Avon Badminton Leagues, and arrange friendlies with other universities. The club is also involved with volunteering and coaching programs which you can be a part of. Coaching and mentoring is available for all members of all levels. We have regular socials organized throughout the year at various venues across Bristol for all our members to attend.
We are committed to our social members and try to promote participation in badminton, as well as encouraging competitive play. This has taken our club to new heights, and the highlights of the 07-08 season include being voted the best sports club 07-08 and the best volunteer club 07-08

Centre of Sports on Frenchay Campus from 20:30-22:30 on Tuesday (invites only)
Centre of Sports on Frenchay Campus from 19:00-22:30 on Friday
Horefield Leisure Centre from 19:30-21:30 on Sunday
Social nights are on Wednesday usually, the venue changes on a regular basis since we like to do a variety of activities.
Since rackets and shuttles are provided by the club, all they are required is to wear appropriate sportswear to participate.
