"It's a good thing I'm first aid trained - these scissors look sharp"
It is a requirement that all clubs and societies have two qualified first aiders at every club or society event. To help you achieve this we offer a series of one-day Emergency First Aid at Work courses, free of charge for any paid and registered club or society member. The qualification lasts for three years and is a nationally recognised.
To book yourself on to a course, first ensure that you have paid and registered for the 2007/8 academic year and then take a look at the times and dates for the 2007/8 year here . Once you have decided on a session, email Chris.Anthony@uwe.ac.uk with your choice. Places are filled on a first come, first served basis.
Please be aware that once you book on to the course, your club/soc will be liable for a £25 fine if you fail to give us 24-hours notice and do not attend on the day.
