Western Eye is UWESU’s official Students' Union newspaper.
It is a credible publication that takes an independent stance on UWE/UWESU news and any regional, national or international news that affects the UWE student experience. It is a 32 page, tabloid size, full colour publication, printed ten times a year with a print run of 6,000 and the potential to reach 30,000 students. This potential is also incresed with the newspaper being readily available online to all students. Its dynamic, hard-hitting student journalism has given the brand a strong reputation, recognised around the whole of UWE.
It will be distributed to all four campuses in Bristol, (Frenchay, Glenside, St. Matthias and Bower Ashton) in student halls all over Bristol, bars and cafes, news stands, buses, union offices and distributed by hand.
