"I always get mine in a week early"
The Students' Union has two vehicles on site that can be booked for student activities: a 17-seat minibus and a 7-seat people carrier with a tow bar for towing vehicles. We can also source different vehicles if our own have been previously booked or you require something else, such as a car or a coach.
To book vehicles you must first fill in a Trip and Transport booking form (see How2"¦organise a trip ) at least 5 working days before the start of the hire period. This must include the destination, the times and dates you require the vehicle for and the driver numbers of the students driving the vehicles (see How2"¦ become a club/society driver ).
Once all of the relevant information for the trip has been provided we will either reserve our vehicles or book through the external company.
Once a participants list has been submitted (at least one working day before you leave) the key release forms will be sent to the gatehouse at the entrance of Frenchay campus. The driver of the vehicle will be required to show the gatehouse staff their driver card before they will be handed the keys.
The vehicle should have a full tank, and must be returned in this condition; if it is not you will be fined. If the tank is not full you need to inform the gatehouse immediately.
