Bower Ashton SU
The Students' Union at Bower Ashton provides a fully licensed bar, a shop, as well as access to all services based at Frenchay through the SU office, which is open daily.
Bower Ashton is the smallest of UWE’s campuses, so if it’s an intimate friendly atmosphere you’re after you won’t find it better anywhere else. It is home to the School of Creative Arts and is an eclectic and colourful community of more than 1,600 students and a close network of staff. It is situated on the edge of the beautiful parkland of the Ashton Court Estate and is close to Bristol’s city centre.
The Students’ Union at Bower Ashton provides a café/bar, a shop where you’ll find everything you could need on campus, as well as access to all other union services through the SU office. We offer an independent advice service, a Job Shop and access to all sports clubs and societies, along with a diverse range of entertainment, so opportunities to get involved are broad. Come and join us in FoCA bAR and experience the chilled out vibe of Bower while sampling our freshly ground coffee or something off the locally sourced wholesome menu. Featuring homemade soups, quiches, curries and cakes, with a choice of vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options, FoCA bAR holds occasional DJ and live music sessions; we also have our own decks, so feel free to bring in your vinyl if you fancy a spin!

Bower Ashton Redevelopment
Outline planning permission has been secured for the campus Master Plan - a plan of how the campus may be developed over the next ten years. Building details are still to be determined but are likely to fit the footprint and height of the buildings indicated in the master plan. UWE would still need to secure detailed planning permission for each individual building.
