just an update in case anyone comes this/next/whatever year and is interested in trying the disipline,

Training sessions/jams are held every saturday, 11am at Castle Park Church, anyone with any degree of prior experience (or not) is welcome.

btw this is not a UWE thing, it is for all of Bristol and surrounding region...

feel free to contact me if you want more info.

I am quite interested in Parkour and Free Running. I'm currently trying to do some, but I'm not getting too far at the moment. I'd rather get a little skill before I go to those Saturday sessions.

Unfortunately the Saturday sessions are populated by very young people quite a bit of the time too. I wish there was a gymnastics gym around somewhere so I could train some techniques without worrying about splitting my head open on concrete!

I was thinking that if there were enough people interested then we could start a sports society in the Union; I know fork all about technique though, so we'd need to find someone to help us... Would anyone be interested in such a society?

Hei there.
is there still someone who is doing parkour/freerunning or is interested in trying? I do a bit, but it gets boring to do it all on my own. if someone wants to join, add me on facebook: 'Erik Tyskern' ;)
