I think other people in the household might take issue with finding an item of menstrual equipment in the dishwasher with the cups plates etc. I know it's a sterile cleaning process and that it is all perfectly natural etc but......... Anyway what happens if there is something in the dishwasher that has had tomato in it, you would end up with a permanent orangey tint to the thing!

The best way of sterilising them is boiling them for a couple of minutes... obviously it's not best to stick them in the kettle or in pots u use for food, but u cud just pick up a cheap pot?

I know far too much about this!

Moon-cup is a God send. MORE comfortable than towels and tampons a sh*tload cheaper too! I would never go back, ever. It took me about 3 months to work up the courage to get one, but I'm so glad i did now. The only reason not many people know about them is because so much money is made from sanitary equipment...they are VAT'd as leisure items for christ sake!

not uncomfortable at all...don't even know it's there...more comfortable than tampons in fact, no bloody string stuff to get in the way. They let you do a 30 day trial, and if you don't like it you can get your money back. Seriously, you're being done by using anything else!

Hmm, I have seen vague reference to it before, although that's the first time I've read anything about it. Not at all convinced by that website! :?

Well, the name makes it sound very space-age! I'll know the future has arrived when life is like The Jetsons, and anything that brings that day closer is fine by me.
