DIUS Student Juries Programme
The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills is calling for applications to be members of a series of student juries this December.
You may previously have received some information about this initiative, calling for students from particular groups: full-time undergraduates, part-time undergraduates, postgraduates, and so on. If this is the case, please note that these groupings no longer apply, and applications for any jury are welcome from any student.
However please note that for these events, applications are sought from students who are not full-time office holders in a students' union, or from student governors. All others are welcome to apply.
NUS is supporting the Government in their efforts to listen more effectively to students.
Please follow the links below for further information.
Four more juries are to be held this December, as follows:
- Sheffield - 7 Dec, closing date for applications - 4 Dec
- Manchester - 12 Dec, closing date for applications - 5 Dec
- London - 13 Dec, closing date for applications - 6 Dec
- Bristol - 14 Dec, closing date for applications - 7 Dec
For more information check out this briefing:

Or, download an application form now at:

Clearly, the closing dates are all very near, but the more applications submitted, the higher the chances that DIUS will be able to form student juries that represent a realistic cross-section of the student population. We hope you will be able to help us in making this important initiative as success.
