Time Change for Varsity Boat Race
The start time for Saturday's Varsity Boat Race is now 2pm not 11am as previously advertised.
Secondly - the weather forecast for Saturday is sun sun sun! So get everyone you know down to the waterfront for liquid refreshments and watching Bristol Uni getting a thrashing!
Racing will take place from 2pm onwards every 20 mins with presentations at 4.10pm straight after the womens 8's final (both crews will disembark ).
The programme should be:
2.00 Womens 2nd 8+ UWE vs Bristol
2.20 Womens Alumni Challenge UWE Womens Alumni vs UBBC or UWE 2nd 8+ supported by BUR
2.40 Mens Novice 8+ Bristol vs UWE
3.00 Womens Novice 8+ UWE vs Bristol
3.20 Mens Alumni 8+ Bristol vs UWE
3.40 Mens Senior 8+ Bristol vs UWE
4.00 Womens Senior 8+ UWE vs Bristol
4.10 Presentations and Medals
The final race of the day will see both crews disembark at the finish line on pontoons laid by the harbourmaster and await the medal ceremony
