About emails from UWESU
Info about emails that you may be sent by UWESU; how to unsubscribe or change your email options.
Why you are sent info by UWESU?
UWESU likes keep in contact with its members and keep you informed of what's happening at UWE. But we know that unwanted emails and texts can also be really annoying. So when you register with UWESU online you have the choice to opt-out of messages.
Your Opt-Out choices are:
- Emails from UWESU - (SU News and what's on emails)
- Emails on behalf of partners of UWESU - (Promotions and offers)
- SMS text messages from UWESU - (News, annoucements)
- SMS text messages on behalf of partners of UWESU - (Promotions and offers)
If you opt-out of all the above then most messages from UWESU will be blocked. The only exceptions are the really important stuff that we have to inform you of like Annual General Meetings, SU Elections, Student Reps and campaigns that affect you as a student at UWE.
How to Unsubscribe
You have two options
- Login to your UWESU membership account, go to the Options & Interests page and untick the Mailing List Options.
- Send an email to suweb@uwe.ac.uk with the subject " Unsubscribe" and we will do it for you. Please note this typically takes a week for us to make the changes.
Left UWE?
Left UWE and want to completely remove your details from our database?
You have two options
- Login to your UWESU account and on the first page (Account Details) select the link Left UWE/Remove Membership
- Send an email to suweb@uwe.ac.uk with the subject " Left UWE - Remove Me". Please note this typically takes a week for us to make the changes.
