Welcome Weekend
To get things off to a flying start for all students joining UWE in September '08, the University and UWE Students' Union have put together a host of activities and events to welcome them in style on all campuses.
Details will be published here as they become available.
Last year we had (2007): DJs, bands, free refreshments, BBQs, films, Centre for Sport, 'Crunchie', Inflatables, Sport on the Big Screen, Carnival and a Beach Party at Frenchay, St Matt's and Glenside Campuses. Bower Ashton Campus celebrated with a Welcome Monday BBQ giving students a party atmosphere to welcome them to the University.
'Chill out' and 'no alcohol' areas were provided for students who would prefer a quiet space to relax in during the weekend.
