Race for Life - Volunteers needed
You may be surprised to hear many of the events have 7000 participants and only have 2 paid assistants on the day, everyone else is a volunteer!
Race for Life is the UKs biggest fundraising event and brings in about £50m each year for cancer research.
So please please see if you can spare one day (or more ;-) to come and help. Anyone who has been at a race knows the atmosphere is amazing and you get a huge sense of achievement (plus a free t-shirt) from doing your bit. Jobs include giving out medals and water, course marshalling (on radio and directionals), shop selling t-shirts etc, admin tent, car park stewarding etc.
Please have a look at the schedule and let me know if we can count you in and please pass onto your friends and colleagues and ask them to contact me, all welcome, including partners.
