African-Caribbean

If you'd like to learn more about our culture or just want to hang out with like minded people then this is the place for you. We will be organising events throughout the year including fashion shows.

Anime

We aim to promote and further students enjoyment of Japanese animation by providing a variety of events ranging from watching anime to quiz and karaoke nights.

Asian

We provide a place for those of similar religions and cultures to come together and make friends during special events and festivals planned throuout the year.

Bar School

We are a completely new and different society concentrating on mixology (the skill of making and mixing drinks) and flair (tricks or manipulation performed with the equipment or ingredients in the course of making a drink).

Being In Good Health

Three sessions will be run a week to help to teach you about core strength training, flexibility and anaerobic and aerobic training. Once a week we would also like to run cooking demonstrations showing students how to cook easy, cheap and balanced meals.

Games Development

We provide students with a regular meeting point to create and play their own video games using the facilities and expertise available here at UWE, ultimately providing a fantastic resource for all students looking to build up a gaming portfolio.
