Your Students' Union will be working closely with the UWE Community Volunteer Programme (CVP) who help UWE students and staff to find fantastic volunteering opportunities; helping out the local community or doing volunteering related to your studies or future career.

UWE Students' Union Volunteering helps students set up and lead their own projects and events and puts on volunteering taster sessions on campus and in the Bristol area.
We will work together to make sure your volunteering opportunity is the best suited to your needs.
What sorts of things can you get involved in through CVP?
Opportunities include existing projects at UWE, in external organisation or work experience and placements related to your studies or future career

- Helping to maintain nature reserves
- Mentoring people with autism
- Supporting witnesses in court
- Sitting on management committees of local charities
- Coaching sports teams
- Creating community artworks
- Offering advice to the public at Avon Law Centre
- Dog-walking with the RSPCA
- Providing I.T. support to local charities
- Helping disabled people learn to ride horses
- Working at Citizen's Advice Bureau
