Description

The UWE Engineering Society is for ANYONE who enjoys using/inventing/learning about technology and engineering. In associate with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the society aims to gather together like-minded people, whether they are be the technical minded or just those who have interest. It is not necessary to be doing an Engineering subject for this society.

We go on trips to engineering environments, meet high status engineers, compete with other universities in social and technical challenges and work on world famous engineering projects such on Bloodhound SSC – the next car to hold the land speed record at approximately 1050mph!!!

Where They Train / Meet

Meeting places and times are never the same from one week to the next (to keep members on-edge!).

Not everyone is interested in the same Engineering activities; we know this and so to make things easier on your pocket we charge the basic £4 fee.
